Jim McFarland Joliet aka Jim McFarland Frankfort is a small town shop owner from the north side of Joliet, who always pulls for underdogs, and works tirelessly on their behalf.. (Additional information in a further tone:Jim has been heavily involved in social and humanitarian causes, serving on the Boards of the Forest Park Community Center, the Spanish Community Center, and Joliet/Will County Project Pride.) I have been a resident of the Forest Park neighborhood in Joliet since 1989. As part of the Uptown Joliet Development team, I have enjoyed being a part of one of the most rapidly redeveloping areas in Joliet. We as a group have been able to make great strides in the revitalization of our neighborhood. I have taken this same attitude to help improve Elder Economic Security, Children's Events and Programs, Community Awareness and Education, Crime Prevention programs and other activities that serve to benefit the residents of Forest Park.
