White blood cells (WBCs) that have died at the site of infection are referred to as pus cells. In humans, the condition known as Pyuria occurs when these pus cells are detected in the urine. Some pus cells in the urine sample are to be expected; however, an unusually high count suggests an injection. We'll talk about pus cells, from what they are and why they show up in your urine to the signs you might be experiencing an infection and whether or not it's normal to find them there at all.
