This oil is extracted from the accessory fruit of a rose plant belonging to the “Rosa rugosa” and “Rosa canina” species in the plant kingdom. Furthermore, this oil is basically obtained by using either “cold pressing or extraction” processes. In addition, this oil comprises of a “rose” like fragrance, and is red-orange to light yellow in colour. This oil is also commonly used in the manufacturing of cosmetics.
