There are 2 scenarios when you can't change your status and you will be notified if we were unable to change your attendance status
If the event has ended
You have up to an hour after the event has started to change your attendance. After this time, only the event manager, team manager, or scorekeeper can adjust your attendance.
If your status has been locked
Event managers, Team managers, or Scorekeepers can lock your attendance status - you can contact them directly to release this lock and for you to change your attendance status directly.
