About Plywood Palace Golden & District Centenial Arena
The Golden and District Arena offers one ice rink, which is operational from late August until late March annually. The arena boasts numerous sport and recreation clubs dedicated to perfecting the art of their sport on and off the ice. The venue is home to the Golden Rockets Junior B Hockey team, Golden Minor Hockey, Golden Figure Skating Club, men's and women's recreational hockey, and many public drop-in programs.
The dry floor (the rink minus the ice) is available for rent mid-April to early August.
The arena has a large lobby, concession, change rooms, and second story lounge that can be rented for day camps, parties, meetings, special events, or exercise space and is perfect for any mid-sized group.
