About Larry Grossman Forest Hill Memorial Arena

The Larry Grossman Forest Hill Memorial Arena in January of 1960 was known as a “Community Centre in Memorial Park” In 1967 “the two artificial ice rinks situated in the area known as “Memorial Park was erected by the village of forest Hill in permanent commemoration of the centennial of confederation in Canada”. The construction was made possible through the co-operation of the province of Ontario and the government of Canada.
