Move over Stan Smyl, Trevor Linden, Markus Naslund and Pavel Bure, Daniel and Henrik Sedin are coming to join you.

As owner Francesco Aquilini revealed Thursday during an interview on Sportsnet 650, the Canucks will retire No. 22 and No. 33 next year during Vancouver's 50th anniversary season.

It's an obvious honour for the Sedins, the 38-year-old brothers who almost identically rewrote Canucks franchise history books with their dominant play since beginning their NHL careers in 2000-2001.
Henrik is the highest-scoring player in team history; he's also the club leader in assists, games, power play points and plus/minus. Additionally, Henrik ranks seventh in goals, third in game-winning goals, ninth in power play goals and shorthanded goals, sixth in shots and first in both faceoffs taken and faceoffs won, and is Vancouver's ironman with a record of 679 consecutive games played.
Daniel, the second highest-scoring player in team history, is the Canucks' all-time leader in goals (both even strength and power play), game-winning goals and shots, and is second in points, assists, games played and plus/minus.
The only two players in franchise history to surpass 1,000 points each are also the only brothers to do so in NHL history.
And soon No. 22 and No. 33 will join Smyl's No. 12, Linden's No. 16, Naslund's No. 19 and Bure's No. 10 in the rafters at Rogers Arena.
The jerseys retirements will be part of a week-long celebration, said Aquilini, with details revealed prior to next season so Canucks season ticket members, partners and fans can plan to be there.
Why wait? Why not put the Sedins up where they belong as soon as possible?
Great question.
Every retirement ceremony is different, but many of the greatest athletes of all-time have had their jerseys retired years later, including Naslund and Bure, and let's not forget about Derek Jeter, Kobe Bryant, Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, Bill Russell, Karl Malone, Daniel Alfredsson and Martin Brodeur.
There's no rush to retire the Sedins' jerseys, instead it will be done right as part of a week of celebrating the two greatest Canucks in franchise history.
Can't. Wait.
Every Canucks jersey retirement ceremony has been epic so far and it'll be doubly as great for the Sedins.
