How are industries adopting cloud computing?

This hospital made the decision to go through a cloud-based messaging system through an important player (Google Apps), and found this experience very positive. What is really interesting in this story is that they trusted an experienced partner to make the transition. This is what will make the difference. Organizations do not necessarily need to rely solely on their own IT team to make the change, experts exist for this. If we take Hosted Exchange solutions, for example, most cloud providers provide the smooth transition.

But this Wyoming hospital is not the only organization that has made the leap to cloud computing. In the United Kingdom, St Helens and Knowsley University Hospitals relied on cloud storage because their need for more storage space and nearby internal infrastructure no longer met their needs.
